Long entry

8th Aug:
I skipped school because i couldn't wake up.
And i don't intend to go also cos no more lectures already. Lecturers are going through revision only. So, i din want to go.
At night, i went club momo with Serena and Marcus.
Its been ages since i last saw the both of them. I think about two years?
And surprisingly, we still can click soooooo well. Haha! I had fun "disturbing" Marcus (as usual)
Before Momo, we went to City Hall to see fireworks.
We din got a very good view and so, i only managed to take one pic.

While waiting for the crowd to move, we took pics ourselves.

the ITE classmates

AFter which, we walked to Marina Square food court for our late dinner.
The journey from city hall to marina square was like fcuk.
Damn crowded. People were pushing here and there. Soooo irritating.
We finally got a seat after 10 mins.
Ate, gossipped, etc.
Left MS at around 10.45pm.
Took a train down to Chinatown and we walked all the way from chinatown to Momo.

When we reached momo, i got a shocked. (it was already 11.50pm by then)
The queue was SUPER long..But thanks to Joe, we got in within 10 mins.
Why? haha..cos i was on his guest list. And i got a free entry. How cool? lols.
Btw, Joe is someone i got to know at zouk during the fashion show.
I went Momo because i wanted to support him. He was having some event over there.

Anyways, i thought momo will be fun after hearing so much from friends that its picking up already (the other time i went it sucks like shit) AND.......i still think it sucks now.
Gosh, i was damn bored inside la. The songs cannot be compared to Phuture.
the crowds are mainly guys. or rather to be exact, desperate guys.
Even Aaron, HY and Mark claimes that it was boring.
They left like 15 mins after they enter? haha. (rich kids) Eddie dissappeared after saying hi to me. hah!
Thanks to Serena, she made me enjoy myself..I could sense that Marcus was bored too. lols.
Aaron (another guy) and Charles came to join us after that.

We left the place at around 3am.
Aaron sent me, serena and marcus home. Hah! Save my cab fare. =)
Reached home at around 3.45am.
Bathed and i concussed.

9th Aug:
Happy Birthday Singapore! =)
I was supposed to reach ITE Bishan at 10am BUT i overslept.
Woke up at 9.15am and immediately, i bathed. Packed my stuffs and off i went.
Waited for the bloody 238 for so so so long.
When i reached Bishan MRT station, i saw so many motivators still waiting for their friends.
Thank goodness i din cabbed down.

Anyways, to cut the story short, i must say NDP2006 was a blast!
4 months of hard work paid off.
I miss my cluster G motivators. I miss the fun times we had. I miss the trainings under the hot sun. I miss the rehearsels at ITE Macpherson. I miss everything of NDP2006.
Time flies damn fast. And its true that all good things must come to an end.
I hope the friendship i made with the motivators will not stop here. They are really a bunch of wonderful people. And i'm sooo touched that one of them came up to me and said this:
her: Thanks so much Gladys. Seriously, i don't really treat you as my mentor or what. I treat u as though u're my sis. and i think the rest of us feel the same way too. U're like a sister to us more than a mentor. Thank you.
me: Smiled and hugged her.
I was lost for words can?? I controlled my tears. and i walked away with a "big" smile on my face.
I'm so glad i put an impact in their lives. One of them even asked me can i go to your church?
I was really stunned! And so, we (the mentors of Cluster G) invited a few of them to attend the PlanetShakers concert this sat at expo. =)

NDP2006 was indeed fun Fun FUN!!!!!!!!!!
And it's kinda sad that it's the last year NDP will be held in the national stadium.
I wonder where will it be next year?

Oh wells, after NDP a few of us went J8's Mac to eat and to celebrate Ivy's birthday.
We slacked at Mac for an hour or so.
Managed to catch the last train home.
Seriously, i had lotsa fun during the past few months.
I wonder when can i see the rest of the TOUCH mentors again....next year? hmmm...
